What is Life Care?

Life Care is essentially "A Home for Life"

A wise investment in planning for your future.
Life Care is an innovative approach to planning ahead for whatever challenges may come with living a longer life. Life Care is a type of continuing care retirement community that provides residents with financial and healthcare security. For an initial entrance fee investment and a monthly services fee, residents enjoy and receive priority access to quality healthcare services, whenever they may need it.

What if I outlive my assets?
With the ever-rising costs of health care and longer life expectancies experienced by people who are active, outliving one's assets can be a legitimate concern. But imagine the confidence that comes with knowing that you will never be forced to leave your home.  Our Life Care guarantee ensures that regardless of changes that may lie ahead, including an unforseen depletion of your savings or investments, you won't be forced to leave your home.

So set your mind at ease
The security and peace of mind provided by Life Care allow you to be free to focus on your interests, develop and maintain friendships, and enjoy the stimulating environment that defines Horizon Bay.

Life Care guarantees you will have care in the future - when you need it.

Our Residency Contract for each apartment provides up to 360 days of basic room, board and care at no charge should a resident need to utilize skilled nursing, long-term care or assisted living on our campus. Our Life Care guarantee can offer savings of more than $100,000 during the length of your residency. The $100,000 benefit is based upon the cost of health care today. The value of this savings will continue to increase as the cost of health care rises.
