Town Village is located in south Tulsa on the corner of 81st and Yale, close to shopping, entertainment, medical offices and churches. Our community is beautifully landscaped with a pond and walking trail next door.
We offer eight unique floor plans, each with full kitchens, individual heating and air-conditioning and full bathrooms with your choice of tub or spacious shower. Our apartment homes are bright, with lots of windows, 9-foot ceilings and neutral décor. We offer restaurant-style dining and the menu choices change daily. Enjoy sharing meals with neighbors in our beautiful dining room or even invite friends and family for a special dinner in our private dining room.
Town Village Tulsa is an active and friendly community. Residents gather in our coffee shop, convenient beauty shop, library or club room with fireplace. There are plenty of places to pursue your interests, with our craft room, game room with billiards and two exercise rooms. Enjoy social hours with live music every Friday and monthly themed parties. Our activities are as varied as our residents’ interest, ranging from yoga to Zumba to Wii bowling. Residents are encouraged to use their talents and skills as volunteers, club leaders and welcome ambassadors. We also have a Town Council, with elected officers who help guide the direction of Town Village.

Executive Director
The executive director, along with our friendly and professional staff, strives to create positive, stimulating ways for residents to continue living life with meaning and purpose. We are a friendly family where we treat residents like real people with real life stories.
Our community is a great story that includes heartwarming chapters and incredibly unique characters all in a wonderful setting. Here is the executive director’s story:
What do you like best about your job? I have the pleasure of being able to go to work everyday and experience something new with one of our residents or to be blessed by having them share a treasured memory with me.
What’s your favorite dish or dessert and why? Pineapple Upside Down Cake, my mother used to make it from scratch on my birthday.
In what ways do your employees inspire you? I am often reminded when I see an employee truly in the moment with one of our residents that although we are an amazing community we are here to enrich each individual’s life.

Resident Programs
At Horizon Bay the well-being of our residents is our top priority. Through our Optimum Life® culture, we empower residents to actively engage in life and achieve an optimal state of body, mind and spirit. By emphasizing personal choice, self-direction and optimism, we support the belief that everyone can find ways to enhance health and age well. Our resident programs are designed to provide social, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on the well-being of our residents. Resident programs encompass the six dimensions of Optimum Life - physical, intellectual, emotional, social, purposeful and spiritual. These programs reflect the interests and talents of the residents at each community.
Our Optimum Life health talks provide education on a variety of healthy aging topics, including medical, fitness, therapy and social service fields. Additionally, we provide a variety of physical fitness classes, along with our monthly Celebrations events.
Through our award winning Celebrations program, in 2012 we are celebrating the Music of Our Times! Each month we showcase a different genre of music that helped shape American popular culture. We offer new learning and reminiscing opportunities, supported by the six dimension of wellness. This year we celebrate the songs, styles, and memories that make up the Music of Our Times.
