The executive director, along with our friendly and professional staff, strives to create positive, stimulating ways for residents to continue living life with meaning and purpose. We are a friendly family where we treat residents like real people with real life stories.

In what ways do your residents inspire you?
A lifelong story of experiences. That information is priceless.
How do you honor your residents at your community?
By treating each one as individuals and listening to them.
Tell us about a resident with a remarkable life story?
Each resident possesses a remarkable story. Their life journey should never be forgotten.
How long have you worked in the retirement industry?
Seven years.
What do you like best about your job?
The fact that I make a difference in people’s lives.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
Spending time with friends and family. They are a source of inspiration for me.
If you could meet one person, past or present, who would it be and why?
Warren Buffet – he has a great American story.
What’s your favorite movie and why?
“The Shawshank Redemption,” Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) struggles with his integrity and finally has redemption.
What’s your favorite dish or dessert and why?
Teriyaki chicken from Cheesecake Factory – A simple dish that is prepared by charbroiling a chicken breast with Teriyaki sauce and served over steamed rice.
In what ways do your employees inspire you?
They are a group of individuals that simply do their job for the love of the residents; to make a difference in the residents’ lives.
How do you create a family-like atmosphere at your community?
Taking the time to interact with the employees. Getting to know them.
Tell us about an employee who embodies one of our core values – integrity, respect, responsibility, professionalism or teamwork.
One that comes to mind is a part-time employee who works as a pool attendant/front desk receptionist. This employee consistently demonstrates professionalism while speaking to our guests and is always respectful of our residents.

Lifestyle Programs & Events are designed to provide social, fitness and recreational opportunities that have a positive impact on the well-being of our residents. LiveWell! encompasses the six dimensions of wellness - physical, intellectual, emotional, social, vocational and spiritual.
