The executive director, along with our friendly and professional staff, strives to create positive, stimulating ways for residents to continue living life with meaning and purpose. We are a friendly family where we treat residents like real people with real life stories.
Our community is a great story that includes heartwarming chapters and incredibly unique characters all in a wonderful setting.

How long have you worked in the retirement industry?

What do you like best about your job?
I love having the opportunity to talk with the residents everyday and hear their life stories.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I really love to travel. My other pastimes include baking, reading and crochet.
What’s your favorite dish or dessert and why?
One of my favorite dishes is my cousin’s kugel. She only makes it a few times a year and it is a real treat. I also love my mother-in-law’s Irish soda bread.
In what ways do your residents inspire you?
I am always in awe of the energy and passion the residents have for learning new things.
How do you honor your residents at your community?
We honor the residents everyday by making sure to personalize our services to meet the needs of each individual.
Tell us about a resident with a remarkable life story?
I had the pleasure of knowing a resident that had suffered from multiple sclerosis and was in an electric wheel chair with almost no mobility. Despite his condition he never complained and did everything he could to try to beat the prognosis including working out with a trainer twice a week. The last time I checked with him, he was going on a special scuba diving expedition for people with disabilities. Despite his “losses” he is determined to win at life.
In what ways do your employees inspire you?
I am in awe of the dedication and energy the team puts forward to make each day special for the residents.
Tell us about an employee who embodies one of our core values – integrity, respect, responsibility, professionalism or teamwork.
A member of our dining team embodies all of the core values. He began as a busboy and moved into a position of server. From there he worked his way up. He is currently a Dining Room Manager. He never stopped trying and is willing to take on any problem. He goes out of his way to make sure the residents are happy and always conducts himself in a professional manner. He helps every department and inspires team work within the different departments.
