Gayton Terrace has been serving seniors in Richmond, Va., for more than 23 years. Our four-story apartment community is conveniently located near the west end, about five miles from the popular Shortpump Mall.  Built on 10 acres, the community caters to independent, assisted living, and memory care residents.
 
We offer retirement living at its best with our studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments. Each spacious apartment features 9-foot ceilings, full kitchens, balconies, fireplaces and ceiling fans. We renovated our community in 2009, adding more than 100 apartments along with a movie theater, bistro and beautiful courtyards. Everything you need is here at the most elegant, tastefully decorated rental retirement community in Richmond.

Gayton Terrace offers plenty of opportunities for social interaction, physical activity and intellectual stimulation. You can join friends for a game of bingo, take part in our exercise classes and scheduled activities, or go on one of our many monthly excursions. Popular activities include ForeverFit exercise programs, yoga, afternoon at the movies, wine tastings, leadership forums, bingo and bridge.  You can sit outside in one of the large, beautiful gazebos or enjoy the fresh air with a leisurely stroll. Our popular dining programs offer delicious meals, along with outstanding customer service. Residents enjoy three meals a day and the dining room has a beautiful salad bar daily and a variety of wine selections.

It’s nice to know there’s help available if you need it. In addition to our everyday services, some of our residents need assistance to maintain the independent lifestyle to which they’ve become accustomed. Assisted living services such as medication support, nutritional support, 24-hour trained staff, help with dressing, and emergency response provide residents with extra support. These services are available in the convenience and comfort of your own home.
